I’m Humberto, working on efficient solutions and powerful applications.

Since I was a child I’ve always loved to be in activities, I was in almost all competitions in elementary and high school, I played musical instruments, I played soccer including professional level.

My first experience with the programming’s world was through video games. Curiously I’m really skilled in sports games and when I was a kid my dream was to be capable of making a soccer game like FIFA (obviously I had no idea of all that a video game implied).

I’m a passionate reader and I started reading some books about video games and computer animations, so I studied a degree in software engineering. Then I learned a bunch of interesting things which can be developed with programming.

I remember in college every year I focused in a different sector of programming, for example the first year I focused on programming animations and plugins with Python for Maya 3D, the second year I focused on programming video games with JS and Unity, and the third year I started to learn web development and API’s, this is when I fell in love.

From there I started web development in school and personal projects. Then with my professional career and to this day I have been involved in projects with millions of users and daily transactions, products of great complexity and responsibility, code and performance improvements, implement communication protocols between teams, perform testing and documentation, implement good CI/CD practices, mentor and help junior developers, but above all create a culture of partnership, communication, humility, responsibility, creativity and with an eye on the goals within any company and team in which I have worked.
